NYMA Social - An Evening with Jamie Walton

Another excellent and enjoyable social evening for NYMA members took place yesterday via Zoom, with local cellist and entrepreneur Jamie Walton sharing his thoughts and perspectives on classical music in the Moors. It was fascinating to hear of how Jamie's deep sense of connection with the area came about several years ago, and how this has evolved over time. With the annual North York Moors Chamber Music Festival as his brainchild and further initiatives to come, Jamie's presence and enthusiasm enhance the lives of all who live in and visit this beautiful part of the world. The evening was thoroughly engaging, with NYMA Chair Adrian Leaman leading the Q&A session and plenty of opportunities for other members to join in.
