Welcome to all who love the North York Moors!
From moorland wilderness to stunning green valleys and dramatic coastline, the North York Moors National Park is a source of inspiration and recreation for millions of people.
As 'Friends of the North York Moors', NYMA is an independent charity that works to safeguard the landscapes, biodiversity and cultural heritage of the Moors and surrounding areas.
With England's largest expanse of heather moorland, the National Park's glorious 'purple acres' are special to everyone who lives in or visits the Moors. Our programme of campaigns, walks, events and volunteering gives everyone a chance to get involved.
NYMA is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, registration no. 1169240.
