'Voice of the Moors' NYMA's quarterly magazine - free to members
'Voice of the Moors'
'Voice of the Moors' has features on natural, cultural and socio-economic features of the Moors, local businesses, campaigns and projects in and around the National Park. It's published quarterly and sent free to NYMA members, with back copies available for download a couple of months after publication.
The articles are written by botanists, geologists, entomologists, local historians and other enthusiasts, and the magazine is an important forum for airing planning issues and other National Park matters. We welcome new contributors - please contact us here if you'd like to know more.
We also produce an occasional e-newsletter for members and others. Let us know here if you'd like to subscribe!
Occasionally we receive articles which appear in a shortened form in 'Voice of the Moors'. An example is one on 'Orm of Kirkbymoorside', who rebuilt St. Gregory Minster in the 11th century. The full article (just 2 pages!) can be found here.
