NYMA is run by volunteers. We rely on membership subscriptions, legacies, grants and donations to fund our work.
Please consider making a donation to our general funds or sponsoring a specific project. For instance, additional monies helped pay for clearing the bracken from our Corbett's Copse biodiversity plot near Castleton, and we've recently co-published a facsimile version of a 'Guide to the Wild Flowers of North East Yorkshire' written by a local botanist, Nan Sykes. She died in 2020 at the age of 96, and we were delighted to work with the Yorkshire charity PLACE to ensure her book (formerly out of print) saw the light of day.
