Kate Ashbrook wins 'Great Outdoors' award
Posted on 3rd January 2020
Congratulations to Kate Ashbrook, who's been recognised for her excellent campaigning work on countryside access.
A great start to the New Year for countryside access campaigner - and NYMA member - Kate Ashbrook, of the Open Spaces Society. She came third in the national 'Great Outdoors Reader Awards' competition for Best Campaigner, behind Greta Thunberg and Chris Packham - both of whom benefit from far more prominent media platforms than 'our Kate'. The award is a great recognition of Kate's many years of steadfast campaigning. We look forward to hearing Kate speak at our '2020 Vision' conference in October this year.
